Our charities have always been an integral part of our operations. With Mr. Chelladurai as the managing trustee and his six sons comprising the board of trustees, the Indrani Chelladhurai Charities were set up in 1953 in memory of Baby Indrani, the beloved child of Mr. A. Chelladhurai and Smt. Lily Darling. The trust was formed with the true spirit of helping the needy.


Bell School Palayamkottai

In 1992, I. C. Charities started the Bell Matriculation School in Palayamkottai with 58 students. Today, with nearly a thousand students and 100% results, Bell School is one of the most popular English medium schools in the entire town. Our Lady's Mission Hospital

The trust has donated substantial amounts to the Our Lady's Mission Hospital in Palayamkottai. This hospital is popularly known as "Mother Hospital " and has been in existence since 1960.


CSI Bell Pins Indrani Chelladurai Hospital

The trust also helped in constructing the CSI Bell Pins Indrani Chelladurai Hospital. In 1997, the hospital was opened exclusively for children and women and meant for the poor. The hospital features 25 beds, two operating theatres, a neonatal wing, a dental wing, a 24-hour pharmacy, a lab and six dedicated doctors who work round-the-clock serving patients day and night.



Darling Chelladhurai Hall

The Darling Chelladhurai Hall was built and donated to the community of Idyangudi, the native village of Mr. Chelladhurai. This community hall caters to various social needs of the people of Idyangudi today, keeping the fond memory of Mr. Chelladurai alive. It was always his dream to bring about social upliftment and community integration.



Other Charities

Several churches have been renovated and a few temples in and around Tirunelveli have been built for the people as part of our charitable initiatives. Additionally, the trust contributed voluntarily to the CSI Girls School, Sachiapuram for an open-air auditorium and to the YMCA Sivakasi for constructing a meeting hall.
