As a family-owned and professionally managed company, Bell Pins continues to be rooted in the inspiring legacy of our visionary founder, Mr. A. Chelladurai. Born in 1916 in Idayangudi, Tirunelveli District, Mr. Chelladurai's life was a remarkable journey from humble beginnings to industrial prominence. He began by making and selling matches on the streets of Sivakasi, eventually building one of India’s most respected industrial groups.
His pioneering spirit led to the establishment of industries that not only challenged foreign monopolies but also empowered local economies. From breaking the dominance of imported fireworks to establishing the renowned Bell Pins brand in stationery and wire-based products, his entrepreneurial journey is an embodiment of self-made success and national service.

Indrani Chelladhurai Charities
Indrani Chelladhurai Charities was established in 1953 in memory of Baby Indrani, daughter of Mr. A. Chelladhurai and Smt. Lily Darling. Led by Mr. Chelladurai as Managing Trustee and his six sons as board members, the trust was founded with a heartfelt mission to serve the needy. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to charitable work across education, health, and community welfare—upholding a lasting legacy of compassion and service.

Established in 1992 with just 58 students, the Bell Matriculation School has grown into one of the most respected English medium institutions in Palayamkottai. Guided by its inspiring motto, "Be Illustrious, Be Industrious," the school is known for its academic excellence, discipline, and holistic education.

In 1997, the trust constructed and opened the CSI Bell Pins Indrani Chelladurai Hospital, a specialized facility dedicated to the healthcare of women and children, particularly from underprivileged backgrounds.

Darling Chelladhurai Hall
Honoring the legacy and vision of Mr. A. Chelladhurai, the Darling Chelladhurai Hall was built and gifted to the people of Idyangudi, his native village. This community center serves as a venue for social gatherings, community meetings, and events, playing a key role in the social and cultural life of the village. It stands as a lasting symbol of Mr. Chelladhurai’s dream of community upliftment and unity.
